This site is dedicated to books written by yours truly, Odd Ness. I’m a 52 year old Norwegian author, translator, and journalist. During and after studying Organizations, History, and Journalism at the Universities of Bergen and Oslo, I was as a news reporter at one of Norway’s two main television networks, TV2.
I’ve also worked as an editor and content creator for Norwegian publishing house, Flux. Flux have published two of my books in Norway; one novel and one non-fiction. I have translated several titles from English into Norwegian, including works by Ken Wilber, Pema Chödrön, Rupert Sheldrake, Arne Næss and Deepak Chopra.
I have also translated news stories from Portuguese into Norwegian for TV2, and legal documents from Portuguese into Norwegian and English for Norway’s biggest law firm, Thommesen.
Enough with the CV type shit. At heart I’m an ex post punk old skool raver viking gipsy. I love DIY culture, organic social settings, and constant growing. My HQ is in Bergen, Norway, but I’m always on the move. In Sep I’ll be in Portugal, in Nov Marrakech, Dec/Jan Bangkok, and in March/April East Asia.
